CCS64

Review by Mr Creosote:
CCS64 is the classic amongst the C64 emulators. It supports all disk image formats and tapes, too. All games should work with it.

Handling is as easy as it gets. After running the emulator, you'll find yourself at the C64 command prompt. Just press F9 and a menu will open. It's completely self-explaining. To run a game, just choose a disk drive (or tape) and 'insert' the disk image. Then choose the executable (in most cases the game name). A screen resolution of 320x200 usually translates to full screen.

Current versions are MS Windows only.
