Ever since his wife passed away five years ago, Randolph Steere's life has been solely dedicated to his research of afterlife. Nothing was too expensive or too ridiculous to get into contact with his Irene. Electricity was banned from his villa, because Randolph assumed it would disturb the psychic energy. He even hired a medium to support his efforts! Until the day he fell down the stairs and died...
Sometimes, one small idea is enough to make a good game. Kaiser is a great C64 classic many people know. There are also lots of remakes. Only few of those tried to expand the gameplay, though.

Everybody knows pinball. Everybody knows pinball games. Everybody knows this game, because it is the one which started the whole craze about the genre. Many even think it was the first pinball game on computers ever. That is of course completely untrue. There have been many pinball games before, many popular ones on the C64 and some even on the Amiga. None pushed the genre into the centre of attention like this one did, though.

Released the same year as its predecessor, Pinball Fantasies again provides you with four new tables for you to enjoy.
Partyland
The name says it all: you're entering the plastic world of a theme park. Very well placed targets and ramps, clear and clever interaction between them. Two ramps are only accessable via the third paddle on the upper half of the table. Partyland is pure fun - just what such a park should be!

It is generally accepted as the 'worst movie ever'. It has everything what makes a film funny: acting of the worst kind, a story which seems to have been written within ten minutes, extremely cheap sceneries (gravestones made of paper which the actors stumble over...) and ridiculous post-production. And best of all: it is not meant to be funny as in all these boring modern films, but completely involuntarily humor!

Released roughly at the same time as the first Championship Manager, Premier Manager was different enough to attract its own crowd of fans. This game has started a battle that, in a sense, rages until today: a battle between two styles of soccer management games. Where Championship Manager was heavy on different statistics and on putting together to optimal squad for each match, Premier Manager by Gremlin, and later its spiritual successors ? Premier League Manager and Total Club Manager series by EA ? took on a more user-friendly approach and mixed in the business and training aspects of managing a soccer team.

Games have disappeared into obscurity for the oddest reasons. Some faded away because of bad (or lack of) marketing. Some just came at the wrong time (e.g. when the genre they belonged to was already on the decline). Some just don't have the mass appeal, but became favourites in limited circles. And then there are games which are just crap. Like Psycho Killer.
Alternate Name(s): "Hero Quest"
You want to be a hero, and what is your big plan for that? Completing some quests or course, and so you go to Spielburg, having heard they need some help and being well prepared by your recently finished hero course by correspondence.
As an adaptation from an arcade, Rampart is a simple game, a simple, fun and hard game in which you will build the castle walls inside which will be placed the cannons to fight back an invading float.
