Boxing. I can hardly think of a less interesting 'sport'. Two sweaty fat guys beating each other up. Or actually not, because most of the time, they seem to be hugging each other anyway. No, really, I fail to see the fascination. WHY IS HE REVIEWING A BOXING GAME, THEN? Well, I've also had a lot of fun with racing games, and I wouldn't be caught dead near a real racing track. As so often, virtual reality and real reality are two pair of shoes.

Evil mutant spiders are invading your house. These monsters are crawling up the wall, trying to enter by the windows. You're the world's last chance, and the weapon of choice is, of course, potted petunias. You throw them down, trying to hit the uglies before they reach the windows. Now, if only everyone's favourite award-winning actor William 'Captain Kirk' Shatner had thought of that in the philosophically subtle and thoughtful Kingdom of the Spiders...

'Face off!' is a great hockey game for its time but suffers quite a bit compared to EA's NHL series. Nevertheless is has a lot of things you can expect from a good hockey game. Exhibition and league games, several coaching options and nice extras like fights and a goalie cam.

In the mid-90s, Tamagotchis - little annoying egg-shaped beeping virtual 'pets' - were really popular for some time. Later, there was the immensily successful (deserved!) PC game The Sims which gave the concept of the virtual 'goldfish tank' more complexity. But two decades before, this idea had already been put into a game! Little Computer People - the first scientifical simulation of life (not counting Alter Ego)!

Famous detective Sir Charles Foxworth is taking a holiday on the Mississippi with his servant Regis. He's just taking a stroll around the upper deck of the ship when he discovers an open cabin door. Behind it: a dead man. As it turns out, the body of Raleigh Cartwright III. Sir Charles has three days to find the murderer, because then, the ship will reach New Orleans, giving the culprit a safe chance to escape.
