You will play as Snake Logan, a top-secret CIA agent sent to the most dangerous mission ever - to deal with the hundreds of monsters attacking Metro City and destroying everythig in their path. No one knows why and you are our last hope. Original, no? Well, to make things even more difficult, your plane is shot while flying over Metro City and after salvaging the destroyed plane, you find one machine gun. Time to secure the perimeter.
Blackthorne - the 2-D scrolling shooter that doesn't really scroll. That simple sentence is the most complete and accurate description I can come up with today. Looking back several years I can only ask myself: why did we love this game so much? Because we didn't know any better? Probably so. But then again, nothing can change the beautiful memories and give back the countless hours we spent in front of the small, low-quality 14" monitor playing what we thought was the greatest game ever made. Does this sound unfamiliar to you? Probably, if you have never experienced it.

In Desert Strike you are the pilot of a chopper in the Middle East, your main objective being to take out a madman trying to take over the world. You accomplish this by achieving your mission goals, which are laid out prior to each mission and vary from destroying buildings and vehicles to capturing enemies to escorting other vehicles. Not only do you have to worry about being shot down, you can also lose ammo or run out of fuel, both of which can be corrected by collecting ammo crates and gas drums, respectively.

Fury of the Furries is one of the best platform games of the time. You control small, lovely, furry balls with hands and feet, called Tinies. The objective is to overthrow 'The Wicked One', who has captured the king and turned all other Tinies into mindless beasts.
The future. Several syndicates control different regions of the world, and there's a war between them. You must take the role of one of the organizations and perform a variety of tasks to "capture" the regions one by one until you control them all.
As I write this review/manual I assume you know nothing at all about the game. That's because anyone who has ever played The Lost Vikings will never forget it and won't need a manual or a review to get started again.
