The early days of the Cold War. The USSR is blocking all land transports to the western sectors of Berlin. The USA have initiated an air bridge to supply the city. But Berlin is like a tiny island in what is going to be the GDR - when it comes to war, it'll be overrun by the Red Army immediately!
Aaah...Gauntlet! Probably one of the most popular games ever to populate the face of this earth. The moments when 'blue wizard needs help' made me lose a huge amount of time on my good ol' C64.

This is one of the few german games which got much international attention. And it really deserved it. Basically, it's a pretty tipically german genre: a business sim. But in contrast to lame tries like Winzer this one is really fun! The reasons for this are simple.

Without any try at a backstory or an explanation about the situation, you have to control a little ball trapped in a maze.
