The king may have been saved, but now, his son has been kidnapped. The evil Demon King wants to make the prince into his court jester. What an offense! Instead of the terrific trio of the first part, a gruesome twosome (see number of 'i's in the title) is sent: Fingus, the diplomat, and Winkle, the practical joker.

Herbie, the lovable Volkswagen Bug whose whacky adventures everyone has been following in the 60s and 70s, is back on the big screen with 'Fully Loaded'. Haven't seen it, and don't plan to, but I guess it's bad. However, legends can't die, no matter how awful this new version might be. We'll always have the original.

Although some people (and especially the producers) may claim differently, Jeopardy! is actually one of the most straightforward quiz shows on TV. Nevermind that question-answer stuff - it's still basically the same. Especially because most of the 'answers' aren't really what you'd give as an answer if you were asked the respective 'question' ('What is red?' - 'The colour of the stitchings of a major league Baseball game'... right, that's how I'd define it, too). Basically, the three candidates are presented with a sort of 'definition', and they have to say what it is about.

Lemmings - widely regarded as one of the most influential, one of the most original and one of the best games ever. What could I possibly say about it what hasn't been said before? Even today, it is the epitome of the 'puzzle' genre - and I added this genre to this site just for this game. I recoded pages, made special images, defined scripts, all just to be able to present this game. So there has to be something special about it.

After they started milking the brand with lots of and lots of data disks, it became obvious there would have to be a real sequel to Lemmings to keep the fire alive. However, due to these data disks, how could that sequel just have been additional levels? Impossible - we need more!

Which game would fit the description 'digital model railroad' best? Most people would say Railroad Tycoon. It doesn't quite fit, though, because of the economic aspects. For Märklin fans, it's mostly about controlling forks and setting routes. The perfectly fitting game: Locomotion.

Mah Jongg is one of those little gems you just HAVE to have on your harddisk - for the simple reason that it's small, runs under Windows without the slightest problems (at least not under those Windows versions I played it under - which are Windows 3.1, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows XP) and is exactly the game you are looking for when you want to play but don't have an idea what to play. It's always good for a round or two... or even for a playing it all night (if you are like my mother - and she's hardly a gamer, far away from that actually!).
