I also don't think anyone would have something against his work being used, but I'd always ask in advance - just to be on the safe side. Besides, if I made something and people liked it so much they want to use it somehow, I'd be happy to hear something from them...

That[] about translate what I thought. Anyways, it's not the first time that I use Elfwood.com pictures for my avatar[]. I even already asked for authorisation once or twice, and by experience (tough it's not a very deep experience), the authors are usually happy to see their work used as BBs avatar. Must be half "I get publicity" and half "Someone like my work. It's cool! Let's not turn him down". :)

If asked, I would immediatly remove it (or ask Mr Creosote to remove it) in respect to the author.

Oh, I saw the copyright notice on the picture before - but since I can't possibly check everyone's avatar's sources, it is your responsibility.

Well, I don't know if I should say it but anyways, if Mr Creosote find it is wrong then I give him the right to remove it from his servers anytime;

It comes from Elfwood.com

I like it too :)

Still going down: A site offers games for various systems. All SNES games are listed with "Display: VGA". :pain:

Yeah, well, me and my big yellow gun don't take kindly to convicted felons, human lifeforms (especially babies), or anything that resembles and axe :P

And look! Sterge has an axe and Mr Creosote is a convicted felon. They still get along great!

Does it really matter what someone else thinks of a game. If you like it then who cares what others think. I love Police Quest, Mr. C dosen't, big deal he is entilted ot his opinion and I mine.

:( I just lost all respect I once had for you (and there was very little of that to begin with)....
So you base your 'respect' for someone on his or her opinion and if it matches your own? Sorry, but that is an incredibly stupid stance.

I absolutely agree that the review is not very well structured by the way, because it's just a loosely connected series of example - no offense taken there :P

He does make an argument against Police Quest I. I even agree with that argument. Can't say it's well-constructed, though :cunning:

Because he makes a very well constructed argument against Police Quest? (One I agree with very much). That's a sad reason for such a statement. In fact, I could not comprehend such a thing.

Actually, I didn't say anything about the quality of Police Quest in this thread, I only pointed out an inconsistency in the writing of someone else. If you're interested in my personal view on Police Quest though, you can of course read it: http://www.goodolddays.net/amiga/games.php?query=id&id=37 - enjoy :P
