That is one of my main gripes with civilian airplane-simulators in general: They are bit too realistic in this degree. But making this the main gameplay element seems rather brave.

At least other flight simulators had the decency of offering you scenarios which had some kind of instant action.

PS: Reminds me a bit of the recent simulator vibe, especially the truck simulators, which are so utterly boring that you just have to go off-road or start collecting tickets.
