Talking about Basil Rathbone... he's great as Lodak ;) And let's not forget his colleague Nigel Bruce.

I don't really agree with Harrison ford, though. I mean, he's got one facial expression, and that's not enough to make a good actor.

Yes, bút he also played a President, Han Solo, Dr. Kimbel ... Ok, alway more or less the same carakters but I love to see the films in which he plays - because most of them are quite good - I think :)

Ok may be :)
I also like Peter Falk, William Shatner and Basil Rathbone very much - as Columbo, Cp. Kirk(and Cop) and Sherlok Holmes :)
But hm a real good actor :P - ah yes - Peter Ustinov - would be my first choice :)

Hehe, your vote made Michael J. Fox win this poll, and rightly so! :D

Hi,
I voted for Michael J. Fox, because he played always well.

The first Time I saw Michael J. Fox on TV was in a Familiesoap where he played a young man who loves mony very much and who tried to show his little brother the "right" wayin life. Oh and his TV parents where old Hippies, that had sometimes opinions which differed form the ones of their son ;)

My favourite actor which wasn't in the list is *tata Harrison Ford Indy for ever ;)

Oh Gott ist mein Englisch schlecht geworden ich fürchte da muss ich erst mal wieder üben - schon allein wie lang ich für so ein paar misratene Zeilen brauche - lässt mich nachdenklich werden :o

Ok, ok, I must admit not only the 80s are good. I really enjoyed "Herkules vs. Vampires" a few days ago.

There must be some quaint humor in all of this.

Micheal J. Fox, but if Sean Connery was there, I'd pick him. He was knighted for his acting skills, that says a lot. :P

Is that all you can see in Germany?

Yes... Alf premiered yesterday, and E.T. is the current blockbuster at the cinemas... :doubt:

Television is full of other stuff here, but why should I watch any newer stuff when filmmaking (just like everything else) has already been perfected in the 80s?

Sorry I'm new here...
But what kinda choices are these?
Is that all you can see in Germany? Beverly Hills Cop, Back to the Future, and The Nutty Professor?

You so funny, you make me laugh (doh!).

Wait...I thought this said "Greatest Guitarist," not "greatest actor." I change my vote to Eddie Murphy.

You don't know Judge Reinhold??? Apart from appearing in Fast Times... (see picture), his most notable appearances are Beverly Hills Cop and Gremlins. You certainly must have seen him in at least one of those!

...and Mickey Rooney! He was so great as young Thomas Edison :P

I don't know this 'Judge' fellow, but Patrick Swayze is definitely the worst to me, then Mickey Rooney, and Eddie Murphy and Michael J. Fox are tied for first place. So I'll vote for poor Mikey, as he has fewer votes.

Tapuak: His 'German laughing' is quite an exact reproduction of his original laughing - no difference there :P

Ah yes, another "who sucks least" thread...

Michael J. Fox sucks least, because his work (three movies) is most significant. After all, he represents an entire decade, and only few other people do that - for example Harold Faltermeyer. :P

Well, you apparently haven't seen a dubbed version of his films. If Alf's voice is better in German, Eddie Murphy's isn't. :pain:
