Typical. Trust Mr Creosote to criticize my spelling in such a cryptic way that for two days I didn't know what he was talking about :P

Thanks, Cypherswipe :)

game info
more game info
This game seems to be quite rare. No commercial sites seem to have it, and even ebay only had one copy of it. I could only find 2 sites that had any prices for it. One was a personal site and had the c64 version available for $8, the other is a PC version at ebay and it's currently at $20.50 +$6 s/h and it still has 3 days left. Bottom line: It's a very rare game. You can be reasonably certain of getting more than $20 for it on ebay, other sites... *shrug* probably depends on if anyone there is interested in that type of game.

All prices in this post are USD.

btw The correct spelling is McKracken, although it's frequently misspelled, and a search for McCracken will probably get just as many results.

I'd also like to add that re-reading the thread title, I have never heard of this game at all. It's probably quite rare!

I don't think it's that valuable. On the other hand, you never know if some super geek comes along... ;)

Well, it's not about how much I'm willing to pay, but how much I'll be able to sell it for ;)

Ok, so let's collect some arguments:

pros:
-very popular -> collectable
-unopened -> for geek collectors
-English -> original language version

cons:
-PC version -> one of the worse versions, also the most common (FM Towns is the most 'wanted' and also best one)

So how much is it worth? No idea.... depends what you're willing to pay for them ;)

Never released in the US? That's new to me, and I somehow doubt it, considering it was made by an american company... Also, which system are we talking about? FM Towns?

I've got an offer to buy several sealed copies, English versions of this game. I know it was never released in the US, but I was wondering: can anybody give me an estimate on how valuable it may be? I couldn't find it on eBay or anywhere else.
