Member Prof Gumby Posts: 488 | Dosbox has a very exhaustive list of what game been tested and work with it. Any other games are "play at your own risk"... ----- I am on a hot streak... Litterally. |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11098 | I have no idea about Dosbox, but 'XMS managers' are for example HIMEM, EMM386 or QEMM. ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

Member Student Gumby Posts: 34 | Hi gang. I found a nice panzer game called "Across the Rhine". It won't work on Windows XP, so I tried it in Dosbox it gets to the end of the mission selection screen. And dies. The error in Dosbox is: "Accont enable A20 line, XMS manager required" Ugh. I hate EMS and and XMS crap. What does this mean? Why did the game get that far and then go kaputt? |
