The "community" is also a good plus to the game, especially since most players are 25 years old and more! This makes for a very mature audiance and communications (most of the time) which really stand out of other common online games.

You can see the official board here: http://pub157.ezboard.com/bcodogames

Also worthy of notice, the game been created and is still updated by the Gollop brothers, those same Gollop who created Xcom and Laser Squad (the original). ;)

1) Huh... Ehm... I should read before I talk ;)
2) This game seems to be an exception then. A good one.
3) See Answer (2)
4) Now this reads very promising, I think I will give it a try during the next days. :D

1) It's not a RTS.
2) You don't have to "log in" several times a day. Playing 30 mins a day is way enough in most cases. And you decide of those "cases"
3) You can download the demo version to try it out before purchasing the final product, and then when you do you buy an account which allow you to play for the time you purchased instead of having to pay every month. Your account details are never erased and you can come back after your sub has run out like you wish.
4) If you ever played Xcom then you should be familiar to this kind of game. ;)

No, I don't. The MMORPG I know and heard of need a too much time to become really good and to get some fun back for money spent.

I'm on the search for online-games, which I can play by the way or just one day in the week. But most of those games force you to log in at least several days a week, if not daily.

But if I would play a MMORPG, it would be EVE Online since I only heard good things about it.

I wonder-do any of you participate in MMORPGs or other big multiplayer games?
I play two (though one is down almost continuously and dreadfully slow the rest of the time)
www.kingdomofloathing.com (really funny MMORPG spoof)
www.heroesofardania.com (down-almost always)
