Member Retired Gumby Posts: 1092 | Well, it is not an strategy game but what you say makes me think in "Humans". It is more like lemmings, and there is no investigation, but you get items as you advance, and the first I think it was a spear. But it is from 1992, and 1994 for SNES. |

Member Baby Gumby Posts: 2 | I have a vague memory of a game, but have been extremely unsuccessfull tracking down what game it was, and it's starting to drive me nuts. Unfortunately, the details are blurry and as such, I'm starting to give up hope on finding the answer. Anyway, the memory is of a game I mentally group with the RTS category, though it was before RTS was considered a genre. I'm fairly certain it was around 1990 (+- a year or two) a period where I had access to PC, SEGA, and Nintendo game systems, so it would have been one of these 3 platforms. The game involved a prehistoric human character or tribe, and it had research along the lines of a RTS in it, I distinctly recall researching either a stick or a bone as a weapon. Unfortunately, that's about as specific as my memory gets. Does anyone recall a game from around this period that sounds vaguely similar? Drengor |
