The first episodes where fun, but as the simpsons it is not for keeping long. But even thought it have not been pimped as much as the simpsons (they are working on that) the humor ends being similar.

Wow, I had never seen a second of this show. Even Homer's voice...

Concerning that online game, I dug through my old magazines and found the article I had been thinking of. The game's name is Worlds Away, and it was offered by Compuserve starting in late 1995.

Both songs were immensely popular at the time, and both of them sucked ass through a straw. These days, both songs (especially ice ice baby) are frequently ridiculed.

I don't know either of those songs, but in any case, this fits perfectly with my prejudice about the 90s being a lost decade ;)

It's just a reference to the lyrics of MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This" and Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby". Guess that's one way to sum up the 90s.

Er... that's probably the geekiest comic I've ever seen! I don't get the "90's Flowchart", though :(

No idea what the game in question might be. What the comic reminds me of is M$ comic chat. http://research.microsoft.com/vwg/projectsheets/comicchat.htm

Funny stuff indeed. That Clango fellow somehow reminds me of Marvin the "paranoid android". Sorry Mr C, I haven't the slightest idea what game you are referring to.

Since the topic is comics, I'll share one I've been enjoying lately: http://www.xkcd.com.

I've been trying to remember the name of the game these figures remind me of all day. Can't come up with it. It was an early online game, which was basically the simulation of a city. Each player's avatar could be identified by its oversized head. In fact, one could buy different heads all the time, and they served as status symbols. Another thing I remember is there could only be a limited amount of players on the screen, the rest who tried to enter this location were refered to as 'ghosts'. Must have been some time in 1994 to 1996. Anyone?
