I would like to direct your attention to a highly addictive on-line game, SimCountry. In this game, you get to manage your own country, as well as play as the CEO of your own global corporation. While it's got a few quirks, the business, military and social models are very realistic. If you like games like Capitalism and SimCity, then this game is right for you. You can check my properties there, on the Kebir Blue world. I'm the king of the Kingdom of Erathia and the CEO of Nova Industries.

Yeah, right!

Anyway, one question: does every player have to play both a country and a corporation? If yes, how are they connected to each other?

You can choose only one or the other, or both. In case you choose both, they are in no way connected. The problem is that there's a huge excess demand for almost every product, so what many people do is to have both a country and a corporation, to create a supply circle.

You can always remain a CEO when your country gets destroyed; those two are independent on each other. However, you have a 36-months grace period during which you cannot be attacked...

As for the registration thingy, if you send me the e-mail you registered with, I can generate one for you. I think you can use it retrospectivelly. it will give both you and me an extra $20 billion to play with, after a few months (they need to verify that you really keep playing, and that it's not a dummy account to cash in $20b).

Well, I'm in. The game seems decevingly simple. Maybe I am just missing something. Although I have established Funkyville and Funky Wares in Kelbir Blue. Right now I'm last in world rankings for my country, :P, and I'm building three corporations with my CEO, whom looks like an old goat face.

Yeah... That's the initial jump. Don't worry - you'll soon settle down in the lower 400s :P.

On a different note, I really like to manage my population. Right now, I'm busy at decreasing their life expectancy, so that I save on retirement costs :).

Hahahahahaaa! Take their social security and buy warplanes with it!

Unfortunately, it seems that my CEO's corporations and my state corporations are in the barrel. There is nothing on the market right now, so without supplies, they can't produce!

no problem with supplies for me - I supply my own companies with my own products, and the little that I don't own I buy at 20% over market price. (I also sell 40% over market price ;))
