Mr. C police quest is the first game I ever finished, way back when I was like 10. Back when you still played games on the 5.25 inch floppy's and the black and yellow screens. PQ is a classic and will allways be.

3.5 inch floppies? Never heard of those, either! In fact, I've never seen floppy disks being measured in inches anyway....

are you jsut being difficult or are you serious here, I have always talked of flopies in terms of their actual size not the amount they hold.

Yes, so do I. 3.5 inches would be some kind of 'mini-disk' I've never seen though!

Well, here we had 5.25" in the days of the C64 and then (i.e. from 1985 on) 3.5".

Ok, ok, I confess I was just bored a bit ;) Anyway, I still don't know what system you played the game on because in the days of the C64, you weren't even born, and who the hell continued using 5.25" disks after that???

I don't know the computer we have in the roof now, it was like an 86 or something. with the aforementioned blakc and yellow screen, in the days when yes you had to type in commands. I'll ask tommorrow what exactly it is and it's not a C64, but yes we did have it from before I was born.

It was something like that, back before windows and before microsoft controlled everything.

The best thing is i could get it down now and it would probably still work, though why i would want to is beyond me.
