Member Dr Gumby Posts: 192 | Hi, you should have E-Mail now. Maybe you don't know it but I am searching for some Images too. See here: http://www.goodolddays.net/forum/topic.php?id=2192 You seem to have some experience in finding Images. So maybe you cold help me too. Everything is welcome. The Image itself or even links to Image Sites which I maybe didn't find myself. Thanks in advance! |

Member Student Gumby Posts: 29 | Thank you! I have not tried this but I think you would have more luck finding the disk images you need by asking people at abandonware forums like abandonia and c dos abandonware. All the commander keen disk images look good but the keen dreams disk are the same install files from id anthology version 1.93 with a different install.bat file. I can use that install.bat for the other vintage games from id anthology. |

With all due respect, didn't you ask here and got an answer here? Obviously, T-Pow is free to ask anyone anywhere, but I think it's a little rude to tell someone on a forum to use another forum (unless there is a very specific reason to do so - like asking a specific collector who is only present in one place). ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! ----- Edited by Mr Creosote at 07:42 on September 22nd, 2009 |

Member Student Gumby Posts: 29 | What I was thinking when I made that post was that if t-pow could get those floppy disk images maybe if t-pow asked from another forum like the examples I gave. Those are the other places I could think of that had forums. This forum is a great place to ask for help but I think you can have a greater chance to find someone with the floppy disks you need if you ask at different forums like I asked for mixed up mother goose disk #2 and no one had it here, maybe someone can help me at a sierra forum.
