Thanks a lot, I'll keep sorting and adding the images when I have time.

By the way, where are they uploaded? I don't know if Creosote gave you access to the same folder I see, and also it moves to another question. Did you get the floppy images you had asked for and which I moved to that folder?

If it's not the one you can access to, then I suppose not. But I didn't hear again about it and forgot.

Mr Creosote gave me ftp address and account a few months ago.
For details, I'll send about it by PM message.

The files for ibmpc5150 are in the folder called "upped". Creo, if you could move them to ibmpc5150's upload folder, so he can get them (if he didn't get them already) it would be great.

Surely he must have uploaded more than 50 images by now? So he should be able to download the images through the website directly, shouldn't he?

Edit: Just checked - Wandrell, all you have to do is categorise seven more of his disk images in the database and then (after the next credits update), the download links on the site should work automatically. ibmpc - if there are any problems with the download procedure then, let me know!

If you do so, thanks.
(I still can't download disk images.)

I have more 3.5" floppy disk images not listed in here or good dumped.
If I have a time, I'll add more disk images.
Also a few of disk images are modified on boot sector / FAT / Root Area.
I'm fixing a few of modified disk image to recover it as factory default.

The credits updating process runs once every day. So changes might take a few hours to take effect.

I've tried to download any disk image.
But the following message appears.

You don't have permission to access /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/floppies/xxxxxxxxxx.7z on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Ouch - that was indeed a bug introduced in the recent switch of the file handling backend. Please try again.

This is my Todo list

1)Dumping more new 3.5" IBM PC's disk images.
2)Fix and re-attach 3.5" IBM PC's disk images uploaded on this site.
3)Report bad dumped disk images on this site.

For example Zeliard (000016) is bad dumped or incorrect image.
This disk image seems not to be dumped from original.

Just to note, the fixed dumps will get new entries. That way we can recognize the bad ones, which will in several cases still be around the net. What we can do is note those images as wrongly done.

And also, a lot of thanks for your help.

Also: those that are credited to me are floppies I got all around the net and don't know the source of most.

That sounds sensible.

Of course, I have lot to do work to upload dumped 3.5" diskimage.

This is my suggestion.
For example, if I report that Zeliard is bad dumped, can you rename the game title as the follow?

Zeliard --> Zeliard [b]
[b] -- Bad dumped (Re-dump needed)

Hillsfar --> Hillsfar [!]
[!] -- Good dumped (verified)

Star Control --> Star Control [?]
[?] -- Good dumped (need verified)

If I upload rest of my disk image, I'll check all disks images later.

Please do not mix up bibliographical data with metadata! If additional information about the images is required, I'd rather add a dedicated field for this sort of information.

Yes, I know my suggestion doesn't mean that must be replaced to others.
I only inform the status of each disk images as [!] [?} [b].

The GoodTools marks are really popular, sure, but having our collection based on a database we can do as Creosote says, and just add a "status" field or similar. Also, it would be much clearer than using those characters, and we could put more information.

For example:
Bad dump
Verified dump
Dump with extra data (like the labels WinImage puts on them)
Copy protection error (hidden files out of the file tables, non accidental integrity errors or whatever they used and was lost when copied)

Added. Let me know if these are the right choices for status.
