According to http://huguesjohnson.com/features/loser_phase/1995.html, full CD-ROM edition copies of Win95 existed...
Now they are almost impossible to find! And can be identified because of this CD cover:

So, what, according to your definition, would a "full CD-ROM edition" be?

A non-Upgrade edition.

Well, obviously that exists. Various different versions, in fact.

However the full CD-ROM version is almost impossible to find, AFAIK.

I think it's easy to find. Right here in my grasp – there on the shelf ;) Of course, the big question is why anyone would want to have it…

Well, I just want some box shots (front, back, left, right, top and bottom sides) of it.

EDIT: Are they OEM or Retail versions?

I've only got OEM without a full box. Sorry, can't really help you there.

Yes, it did. Some people were actually queueing up to buy it back then. But after the initial hype, the typical Windows effect set in: Their monopoly comes from OEM sales, nothing else.
