Floppy Image Naming Convention

So I'm starting to use WinImage on some of my 3.5 inch floppies. Is there a recommended naming convention for the folders and resulting image files? For instance, do you create a folder that shows the game name, the version and year maybe? And within the folder do you just name the disk image something generic like Disk 1.IMA or maybe include the disk type? Sorry if this is already answered elsewhere.

I'm dumping many of 5.25" or 3.5" disk by using DCOPY / WIMAGE on DOS.
I used to dump 3.5" normal disks on Winimage.
I think .IMA .IMG .DSK .VFD has no problem.

For Example : Hyperspeed (3.5")

Make Folder as "HYPERS" on DOS or "HYPERSPEED" on Windows.

Dump disks as disk1.img (Disk 1) / disk2.img (Disk 2) / disk3.img (Disk 3)
Save disk*.img on each folder.

But a few of early DOS games can't be dumped correctly.
In this case, copy protected track/sector must be included on disk.
They can't be dumped by normal dumping tools.
They must be dumped by Teledisk / Snatchit it with Copy II PC / ImageDisk / Copy II PC Option board / Kryroflux.

You must be carefull to dump disks. (Write Protect On)

Thanks. I've only dumped handful of games so far and thankfully haven't run into the protection issue.
