I've checked FAT / Root Area.

What a true shame because you don't have the original Windows Millennium Boot Floppy Disk!

1. Date/Time/Year stamp of Volume Label "BOOT DISK" is quite different.

2. What is JO.SYS?

3. A few of deleted files exists. But Date/Time/Year stamp of them are also different.

I have non-English version of Windows ME BOOTDISK from original retail.
I've compared with yours.

At least your disk must be made from OEM CD.

JO.SYS is a file that allows us to boot from hard disk even if the floppy is inserted.
And I agree with you; my boot disk is not a dump from original media.

I received the following mail from 5247846

I warned 5247846 not to send request for Windows Me Boot Disk again.
But 5247846 ignored my message and wrote message again.
So I posted this fact.

Remember 5247846, I've deleted all Windows ME Boot diskimage from HDD.
I've only copied another diskette to backup.
It is impossible to dump it again. Because I've sealed it with retail CD again.
So there is no use to request, ok?
If you really want it, only way is to buy it.

Also Windows 98SE Retail Boot Diskimage was already uploaded on the Internet from 2009.

http://disks.oldos.net/Boot/Windows%2098%20Second%20Edition.dsk

Why do you tell about Windows 98SE BootDisk?
I'm Not interested that you've got Windows 98SE Retail BootDisk or not from other.

I think 5247846 is kidding me, right?

I suggest to close this thread.
Because 5247846 ignores the rule.

5247846, you are free to request things in public, but remember it is everybody's individual prerogative whether and how far to help you. Please do not pester people in private!
