Heh.... I'm used to being offered things and then never even hearing from the same people ever again, so you're already a positive case - don't worry ;)

No, I can't because the server runs at home. I can't connect to it from 'outside'.
Whatever.
I lost those pictures in a hard disk crash.
But my scanner is working hard again at this very moment :-)

You still could have, because if you had clicked the first link, you would have been taken to http://www.goodolddays.net/forum/www.e-bas.net - i.e. my own 404 page. That could have been a hint.

Sorry, couldn't resist ;)

Getting the thread on the main page so newbies don't open a new thread everytime they wish to describe themselves. :)

@Pada1

I'll guess it was from a comedy series that was either written by, or was starring Rik Mayall and Ade Edmonson?

Probably wrong but it fits their sense of humour :confused:

Hey, if there was any kind of search option, Burseg (sorry if I'm not typing it right) could have found this thread instead of opening a new one for his introduction, and thus not break one of the established (but not officialised) rules! :tongue:

;)

There is no unwritten rule like that. If people introduce themselves in some way, I'm happy. If not, their problem :evil:

Well, at first I searched for some sort of "read me first" thread/sticky to learn if there were any written rules but didn't see one (yet). I'm not complaining but such a thing could be helpful.

Yeah, by the way, is it possible for Mr. C to "sticky" a thread on The Spam Club?

Can be found in the top menu, right next to 'Help'.

No. Seeing that it never really made a difference to pin some thread to the top in the old forum, I didn't program that so far.

I see them now but they are too generic anyway.

Too generic for what? We never needed more rules and thus more restriction here. 'Use common sense' would in fact be enough as the only rule if you ask me ;)
