Member Prof Gumby Posts: 336 | Back in The Good Old Days(tm), there was a wonderful thing known as Standardisation. Controllers used a 9-pin D-Type plug, your console or computer would invariably connect to your TV via a standard coaxial cable. Because of that standardisation it will today be possible to create a universal device that plugs in the back of any console/computer that uses a standard coaxial cable, have a similar device that plugs into the male coaxial socket on your TV, and eliminate the need for a wired connection between them. Hence you could have ad-infitum consoles and computers output to a single TV without a single arial lead pissing you off. Someone should make these and sell 'em because I'm only half way through the consoles and am already running out of cable-ties... |
