Where Can I Download Pong?

I've located the source of the problem. The server sends "iso8859-1" as MIME type of the html file. As we all know, that isn't a valid MIME type at all! So the browser asks what to do with it. When I choose to open it with the browser, it acts exactly as it would with a zip file when you choose to 'open' it instead of 'saving' it: it saves the file in some temporary place on the hd and then opens it. I wonder how it can work for you... what browser are you using?

Edit: And the file http://members.aol.com/jmnsam/Files/pong21.com sends "text/html" as MIME type. That is one messy server!

Yes, it's a DOS program, but you can directly run it from the Windows Interface, too. Just double click the pong21.com file, and it should start in DOS mode automatically.

Mozilla Firebird. Select "Save link as" (or similar), whereupon it will attempt to save it as a html file. Remove the wrong file extention, and it will work.

No, it doesn't work. Do I have to run it in MS-Dos mode?

Looks like a display error... You could try the following: Right click on the file --> properties --> screen/display --> check "full screen". Then run the file again. If that doesn't help, I'd recommend trying it in "DOS-Mode" or look for another Pong version...
