Steel Thunder (3246): Manual copy protection. Strike Aces (3247): CGA / EGA / VGA. Manual copy protection. Wolfenstein 3D (3248): v1.4. Modified OEM ID and RootDir (AT) on both disks. Apart from modification looks the same as ID 1107, except the last few sectors are filled with NULL (00) bytes instead of blanks (F6). Thank you. ----- Cheer up! Uploaded a Teledisk dump which works. Game needs to be run from the floppy however. The cracked version out there removed not only the copy protection but also allows the game to run on an hard drive. |

Member Zombie Gumby Posts: 3881 | @RetroBunny, thanks! Quote: Quadralien [3216]: Wrong SHA1 checksum for disk2 Sorry, disk 2 was actually modified (SSSSSSS.QAD). Either a savegame or settings file, I don't know, it must've been autocreated when I was testing the game. That's why it's important to always re-check the files after running. The former hash was correct for intact image. Disk 2 replaced, set re-uploaded. Quote: Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny [3187]: Image filenames are non-standard. "arkania[1-3].img" instead of "disk[1-3].img" Because of this, SHA1/CRC32 checksums are not created in the XML datfile. I wasn't really finished with that one to be honest. I'm still waiting for the original BLADEM.EXE, because the one I used to restore the broken file is cracked. Good news is, I've found a matching and properly working INSTALL.EXE. Disk 1 replaced, set re-uploaded with status "Cracked". @fuxxxyfloppy, thank you! ----- Cheer up! Member Bachelor Gumby Posts: 60 | @fuxxxyfloppy: I love old gaming magazines from the 90s. Thank you very much for adding the PC Games' cover disks. Maybe this has slipped unnoticed, but I think here are many other PC Games cover disk images available: https://www.kultmags.com/mags.php?folder=UEMtR2FtZXM= Perhaps we could add all of them to our beloved disk archive? Other magazines are also available along with many cover disks. P.S. Sorry if I just re-posted a known website. Just wanted to help out...
