i have a question regarding to balance of power 1990 running under xp home edition. i can only click on the country once and have to either resize the window that the game is running and then able to click on the country once only again. i believe the original game is designed so that the graphic user interface is that one can click on the countries in the map and double click it for close up information. as i am not familiar with all the countries in the game, it is hard for me to use the drop down menu also provided.

thank you for any help you can provide.

I haven't played the game for years, so I had to test it myself again. It's the same here, don't know any solution for this problem. Your best bet is either to familiarize yourself with the countries (to use the drop-down menus) or try another version of the game, e.g. for Mac or Amiga.

Dan do yourself a favor and get the Amiga or Atari St versions of the game with the respective emulators, WinUAE and Steem.
The game was nicer on those platoforms.
