Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11126 | Tell me what should be added to the script next here. From NetDanzr (so that he doesn't have to post again): clickable smilies. ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

Member Retired Gumby Posts: 1007 | Actually, all I would need it a small table of smileys that would open in a new window when I click on a link in the "post new message screen". As it is now, if I used MSIE, I'd have to write the message in Notepad, go to the Help and find the smilies, and then copy/paste the message. And I still think the Reset button is evil ----- NetDanzr<br /> -The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog- |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11126 | Ok. Since I think some people will also like clickable smilies, what about the 'common smilies' clickable and in addition a list? ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

Member Retired Gumby Posts: 1007 | That would work fine, in my opinion, if it's not too much trouble. It would actually fit nicely next to the message field; there's a large empty spot. ----- NetDanzr<br /> -The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog- |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11126 | You mean below 'your post' and left of the textarea? Yes, there is some space indeed... will get to it for the next version. ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

Member Prof Gumby Posts: 560 | I kinda miss the option where you could see how many users where active in each forum... Maybe you could put that back? ----- "In theory, if people bred as fast as ants, and with an equal indifference for it's surrounding species, earth would have 5 million human inhabitants at the turn of the century. Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11126 | Yup. Put on the list. But that one is a bit more complicated, might take a bit longer. ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11126 | Maybe here, but I'm currently rewriting my other main site completely (Abandonweb) because I managed to screw up the database completely. Now I decided I might as well redo it completely... ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |

Member Retired Gumby Posts: 1007 | Just a little tiny detail: you may want to make attachments open in a new window. It's more a cosmetic change than something important... Member Master Gumby Posts: 103 | Just a couple of minor things: 1. This might be a server problem, but the forum clock is about 5 hours early (at least where I'm living) - kinda makes it harder to spot new posts. 2. In the Announcements section, maybe you should show the title of the latest post on the main page, or at least some warning that a new announcement has been posted, otherwise most of us will probably miss them. ----- C'est pas la chute qu'importe -- c'est l'atterrissage |

Admin Reborn Gumby Posts: 11126 | 1. The forum is just displaying server time. This is Chicago or something. 2. There already is. When there is something new in a forum, the announcements or your messenger, the respective link is marked with >>>. ----- Now you see the violence inherent in the system! |
