I never understood why Opera is so popular in the first place; it's the only browser I know of that you're expected to pay for...

So you're never using commercial software when there are free alternatives available? Anyway, there are many other browsers you have to pay for. Most notably one by a well-known American company which holds a significant market share: You're paying for using it with your soul

Alright you got me... although I try using free software as much as possible, I'll admit there's a lot of irony in using it on a Windows operating system.

It's funny, I was discussing browsers the other day and this guy says to me "Mozilla is for people that don't know how to set up Internet Explorer"

Good point - 'Internet Explorer' is completely impossible to configure, and Mozilla way easier.

Why would you want to make Firefox look any differant anyway!

IE has a use - it allows stupid people who have just bought their first pc to access the internet in a simple manner without thinking. And it allows lazy people with a brain to access the internet in a simple manner without thinking, but depriving them of features that should have been standard 5 years ago.

This all isn't even far from the truth. It's a well-known fact that Microsoft's Internet Explorer is the only browser in common usage which is still based on NCSA Mosaic. That means the codebase will be 11 years old next month...

That applies to me. I like ie really.

You know what? I am using maxithon /MYIE2. The only reason i use it and rarely use Firefox is that Firefox does not have groups. And MYIE 2 also has alot more options.
I have had problems though. Active X based spyware and scumware have exploited MYIE 2's holes. it uses iExplore. So when Firefox gets a bit more exciting, I'll totally switch.
