I'm trying to download the Fantasy Empires game.
I have gotten this error message:
Quote:
Error: File not found on the server. Please report.

Please help! I've been trying to find this damned game since forever! :P

I use Firefox if that has any impact.
Help appreciated! Thanks!

(Cool site btw)

Just tried it myself, and it's indeed working. Must have been a temporary server error. Enjoy the game :)

Edit: Just saw you edited out the success edit again. Still problems?

Haha you caught me.
Yes, it did finally download. But its a .rar file.
I'm slightly computer retarded, and have no idea how to set up the game from what I have...?

That's really the epitome of a Frequently Asked Question: Go to the RAR Labs website, download an extractor for your operating system, extract the file and run the game. That's it.

Wow. I used to fancy myself an intelligent wench.........

Got the rar extractor, got all the files out, can't really get the program to run. Feel free to wash your hands of my retardation at any time, I know this is probably getting irritating......

I thought so. You should consider using DosBox, because Windows XP's compatibility with DOS games is severely limited.

I think the manual can also be downloaded from TGOD: check the bottom of this page.
