No. Get rid of WinXP and go back to Win98SE. That's the only thing that helps ;).

So that's what the $%@# was wrong with my computer? Damn automatic updates, onlything wrong with a T4 line... I was trying to write a paper and Microsoft Word kept crashing three minutes in... so I tried everything, and I just started deleting these automatic updates, and it finally worked... was stupid though, there was like 10 of them, and had to restart computer everytime...

[edit] Oh, and why is this option under hidden files?? The file isn't hidden, just the !!!! file type is?!

I see, we have another Win 98 SE user here. ;) I decided to keep using it as long it is able to run the software I need.

Having tried USB 2, I see a single reason why I'd want to upgrade to WinXP. I need about 99 more reasons, and I will ;)

XP works great for me, as long as you have a System Restore Point nothing can really go wrong :)

'My IP' doesn't exist since it is changing several times a day. No idea who used the same IP I had before later :P Besides, I remember the only post at your forum - the word you mentioned was not in it. So much for that.

I spent the last weekend trying to install a new WinXP computer in the office, and I hate it more than ever. Just to force it to recognize other computers on the network is a real pain...
