I have heard that there is an updated version of Daughter of the Serpent called The Scroll. Does somebody know something? I suppose its just with voices or similar only, if it exists.

Yes, it's exactly what you suspected: A rerelease of Daughter of Serpents in 1995 on CD-ROM. The game is exactly the same. A pity really, such a wasted opportunity - it could have been an excellent game if it were a game...
