Review by Eino:
In Jetpack, you play an adventurer without personality, who must gather all gems from a level to proceed to the next one until you've finished all hundred of them. The action is executed in a labyrinth-platformer way, with a strong dose of puzzle-ism. In its own close-quarters, fast-paced C64-reminiscent sort of way, Jetpack is a satisfyingly nostalgic experience.
A hundred levels in itself is enough to keep you busy for a fine amount of time, but as if that weren't enough, there's a nice level editor bundled along the game, and because of this you can easily drown yourself in the sea of Jetpack levels found on the Net. As a game it's fun, challenging and sometimes fustrating - recommended, especially for younger gamers. That's not to say I wasn't still stuck with it, nooo. :-)
There's an alternate graphics set available, which turns the game into a Christmas version, with Santa Claus in the starring role and gems replaced with Christmas presents, of course. Overall, Jetpack is simply one of the most addictive puzzle games you'll ever play. Recommended!
