Review by Underdogs:
Fireworks 2 is an excellent sequel to Fireworks, a fun freeware arcade gem from Virtually Real. As in the first game, you control a barrel on wheels which can shoot fireworks, detonate them, and jump. With these three abilities, your goal is to defend yourself from menacing bombers and soldiers who drop bombs from the sky.
Fireworks 2 offers 5 new levels (the first game has three), each with different graphics. Levels are progressively harder, and the number and variety of bonus items you can collect (such as health boost) increases as you play. Vibrant graphics and good music make this a fun way to pass some time. Recommended as a coffee break game, especially for fans of Missile Command.
