Review by Underdogs:
Cho Ren Sha 68K is another excellent shooter from Japan's incredibly prolific freeware game development community. This vertical shooter boasts excellent 2D graphics, soundtrack, and a lot of neat ship designs, especially the bosses. One thing I like about the game is that you can keep up to 3 power-up items you come across to use later when the going gets tough.
The game is unfortunately rather short, although it's difficult enough to keep you entertained for at least a few hours if you're a novice or average action gamer. Joystick experts will probably be able to finish it in under an hour, though. Overall, a fun diversion that doesn't boast the same longevity or replay value as classic freeware like Idinaloq. Recommended!
