Darkstone
Darkstone is one of the better Diablo clones that has been released. While the gameplay isn't as deep as Diablo or the enemies as tough, Darkstone does offer a nice introduction to dungeon hack RPG's via easy combat and a light focus on distributing stats.
While the game looks good, it has quite a few weak points. The story is somewhat average and cliché fare. The maximum amount of characters permitted in a player's party at any given time is two. The graphics are lackluster and blocky and the game only offers support for 640 x 480 resolution. The interface is poorly designed and the camera angles during battle are poorly executed.
While Darkstone is far from being terrible, it falls short of being a great gaming experience. This game is not in the same calibur as Delphine's earlier titles such as Flashback: The Quest For Identity or Out Of This World, but all in all it's worth a look.
