Review by Underdogs:
Double Dragon Fists of Rage is a superb fangame starring the duo from Technos's famous Double Dragon series. The creator, Miguel "Mig2" Perez, created all the graphics himself that look very much like the original games, as well as cool stages that have a nice pseudo-3D look. The more-or-less redundant plot: Jimmy and Billy Lee have to find and rescue their friend Marian from a mysterious bad guy.

Like the official Double Dragon game, Fists of Rage features a large number of attacks and combos: you can throw punches, kick, grab and throw, do a whirlwind kicks, etc. You can pick up various items around the stages and use them as weapons, and find secret paths and hidden power-ups. The number of simultaneous enemies on-screen seems a bit low compared to console fighting games like Streets of Rage, but that doesn't make Fists of Rage an easier game. Polished graphics, well-designed stages with lots of layers and hidden paths, and frenetic gameplay make up for a very good fanmade game that lives up to the tradition of Double Dragon. Two thumbs up!
