I've had my first PC in the year of 1992. That was an IBM PS/1 (386 SX) with 20 MHz and 2 MB of RAM. I had played some adventure games on the Commodore 64 of a friend before: "Murder on the Mississippi", "Maniac Mansion" and "Zak McKracken". My first PC contained one of the greatest adventure games of all time: "The Secret of Monkey Island". Ever since that time, I've been a fanatic fan and collector of adventure games.
My collection of boxed games contains over 600 games. I practically own everything LucasArts has ever released - with only "Labyrinth" and "Indiana Jones and His Desktop Adventures" still missing in their original packaging.
My favourite game series of all time - for 18 years now - is the "Thief" trilogy: "Thief: The Dark Project", "Thief 2: The Metal Age" and "Thief 3: Deadly Shadows", with the first one still being my absolute favourite. I've bought all of the games by Looking Glass Studios in their original boxes (yes, even British Open Championship Golf). Another one of my most favourite games of all time is QuanticDream's very first game "Omikron: The Nomad Soul" (I finally managed to get my hands on the French Édition Limitée which comes in a box that's as big as a mainboard box.) The "Elder Scrolls"-, "Wing Commander"-, "Might & Magic"- and "Fallout"-series are also in my collection (yet, I still don't own "BattleSpire: An Elder Scroll Legend").
I own 11 PCs, 2 Commodore Amigas, one Commodore 64 in its original box and 2 Atari STfm. My collection of Nintendo consoles is also nearly complete: I still don't have the Wii or Wii U, but at least there's a Virtual Boy in my collection.
