After years of programming it, I've decided to try and put the Spam Board on a more solid foundation. To achieve this, the next version will be released under a so-called free software licence.

You can already visit the project site, download the first beta version and even visit an 'official forum' there. My (albeit tiny) contribution to 'open source' software which I've profited so much from myself.

As you can see, this particular forum still runs on the non-open version 4.0, and the question is why. Simple: I'll be upgrading this forum to version RC2 immediately, i.e. when the first, glaring bugs have been fixed. Since this is the only really 'active' Spam Board, it'll still be the only real testbed for now.
