In 1964, prolific film director John Frankenheimer gave us The Train. Using the final days of the German occupation of France in World War 2 as a backdrop, it is mainly a series of breathtaking action scenes, full of sweat, adrenaline and thrill. The Train: Escape from Normandy comes without a licence, even though it doesn't just copy the plot premise of a train full of French art pieces heading for Germany hijacked by members of the Resistance, but even goes as far as not really caring much about its own storyline in favour of… action.

Now you see the violence inherent in the system!
