Review by Rob:
Masterblazer is Rainbow Arts' follow-up to Lucasfilm's classic futuristic sports game Ballblazer from the early 80's (that was unfortunately never made for the PC). Besides the Ballblazer game mode there's also a race and very nice tournament playing option. The gameplay is widely known: Two players sliding in futuristic little hovercrafts over the 3D playfield fight for the ball to score goals, the farther away you score from the moving goal the more points you get. Smooth graphics and the added playing options make this a very worthy successor. Not a lot of tactics required, it's pure action fun. If you like the Commodore 64 oldie Ballblazer (or Blue Byte's Speedball games), be sure to give it a try. Two thumbs up!
