Review by Underdogs:
A cute and unique 3D racing game, Tux Racer casts you as Tux the Linux Penguin (*groan*) as he races down steep, snow-covered mountains. Your mission is to race Tux down a hill on his stomach while gathering as many fish as possible in the process. You are given a set number of lives, and as you finish each course, more challenging obstacles are placed in your way for the next round. For a longer game, you can enter cups and compete to win the championship.

In addition to excellent 3D graphics and gameplay, Tux Racer includes a variety of options, including different race conditions-- you can race in fog, at night, and under high winds. I can't really find fault with this game-- one of the best freeware racing gems to appear in ages. Two thumbs up!

Note: The game is released under GNU General Public License, which means it can run on any system that can compile GNU C++ code.
