Pocket Tanks
But there's more to it than just shooting each other. With more than thirty separate weapons to choose from (including my all time favourite, the Mega Nuke ),you can select variable wind conditions, difficulty levels, explosion sizes and a choice of how far an impact will "kick" you(on its highest setting, your opponent could literally wind up in your lap.)
Strategy is a key element in gameplay. You've heard the old saying "making a mountain out of a molehill”? A Dirt Slinger does just that, turning him from tank into target :)Other weapons can leave either of you as king of the hill... or glued into place as your enemy takes careful aim. You can fight alternately offensive then defensively, get enough direct hits or keep adjusting correctly and you will have the upper hand, if the enemy gets you zeroed in, expect to get hammered.
The game can be played either as single player or in "hot seat" mode. There is even a target practice option included, for those who have not played a game of this genre before. There is a small learning curve as you work out ranges and elevations, but once you get the hang of it (and that won't be long), you'll be hooked.
The game can be purchased and downloaded from the official site, along with the free add-on Nuke Pack. An added bonus...no shipping costs ;) More weapons and gameplay tweaks are waiting in the wings, and I can't wait to play them. Two thumbs up and...Take cover.... incoming!!!!
