Review by Underdogs:
The last and arguably best in Audiogenic's long line of excellent but very underrated rugby games, World Cup Rugby '95 is an updated version of World Class Rugby, a great 1992 Audiogenic released described by The One magazine as 'without doubt the definitive rugby game.'
World Cup Rugby '95 sports all-new graphics, squads from the 1995 Rugby World Cup, and the same smooth interface fans of Audiogenic games will be familiar with. There are also new options, whether in management, pre-game coaching, or actual match. In addition to the typical solo player game, up to four players can play together with the right adapter. If you love rugby, this is the closest in 1995 you would get to the real thing. Too bad the series was never as popular as EA Sports' rugby games that were inferior gameplay-wise. Two thumbs up, way up!
