I don't even understand the local dialect spoken here, so please don't expect me to understand something which sounds like Scottish to me :P

Thats the English pronunciation of my local dialect, Lancashire tongue. Thats the way I speak in real life, seriously! so forgive me if my english is bad, its barely my native language! ;)

If you can post an accurate translation of it word for word exactly I'll be very impressed indeed. It has to be word be word otherwise your bilingual super powers will drain from like Superman in front of a piece of kryptonite :)

You really should stop posting that stuff you know!

And you sould work on your punctuation, because otherwise, your posts are very easy to misunderstand. If I stopped posting about the "stuff I know", all I could do would be to post "uninformed stuff" :P

That is because I was the last poster in this thread - you just can't see that post anymore, because it has been deleted for unsuitable contents ;)

The book thread shows Mr Creosote as the last poster, but the last post I can see on the thread is from Taupak.

Hmm, the title of the topic I just started got screwed up on the forum homepage somehow causing a 'not found' error; works fine when I access it from the Site Issues page though.

Trillian works quite well with MSN, and it does save options. The only time it might not is if it crashes. Unless your problem with MSN was just a temporary server issue, the problem is either in your installation or your setup (of trillian), and not in trillian itself. I've used trillian constantly for the past 2~2.5 yrs, and my MSN acct was one of the very first ones I ever setup in trill.

I finnaly got over myself and d/l Trillian... After about 2 hours of testing, I came to the conclusion that it's utter crap. Not only it doesn't work with MSN Messenger (which is the reason why I wanted it), but it didn't even save my options when I've exited the program!
What rubbish...

Anyways, I might try Gaim in a near future...

Did you (or another mod) delete the first post yourself? I reloaded the page twice before posting the bug to make sure it wasn't only an error on my end.

No and no. Or probably. This post edited ok, though, so I hope it was really just something temporary.

I got a double post in Home ---> Vox Pops ---> The world's worst Ebay profile after attempting to edit a previous post. Tough it "worked", it seems that it didn't appended the edited text to the old post but created a new one instead following the obsolete one...

Could this be related to the server problems you were talking about?

Is this a browser problem or has there been some change in the forum?
Neither. The problem is that the SQL-database-server has been upgraded to a newer version recently and this version is apparantely buggy - it eats table indexes. It's very easy to repair the affected tables again, but I can of course only do it when I notice it. And since software installation on the server is no longer my responsibility, there is no way to prevent that from happening again (this is the second time it did, once before on another site I'm the admin of).

Yep, I get the same error. Either the script got screwed up, or the server isn't responding properly (an overloaded server often causes error messages similar to these). Since these errors seem pretty constant though, I think MC was doing something with the script and put in an extra period or something.
Edit: I got the other error on the "your reply has been added, please wait" screen too. I didn't catch all of it, but it ended in "on line 244".
Re-edit: I don't get it when I edit my post.
