It's a tactical wargame like Panzer/Fantasy General which borrows a few 'story' elements from the classic Warsong (if you don't know that one, Death or Glory probably rings a bell?). Unlike most free games 'projects', this one has already matured enough to be fully playable. In fact, the 'official' campaign has been finalized with the recent version 0.8.4.
