Fort Aegea
The game is a lot of fun. For starter, it is very close to the spirit of D&D. Your character, for example, can cast druid spells like "Warp Wood," and engage in combat that remind me of Infocom's Beyond Zork. Most puzzles are fun and logical, although not particularly memorable. Where Fort Aegea succeeds is the excellent level of detail, and faithfulness to the D&D universe that will make the game appealing to RPG fans.
On the downside, the game often feels too much like a cliche RPG than an original game. NPCs talk in a very stereotypical manner, and they are much more superficial than they could be. But in my opinion, they do not detract from the fun of reading detailed descriptions of everything and casting neat spells. If you think you might enjoy a well-implemented RPG in text adventure format - no matter how cliche it may be - you will have a lot of fun with Fort Aegea. I certainly did :)
