Sure, for being the basis most others built their own distributions on, but as for me, I don't consider it overly usable. Way too bloated, most of the 'default application choices' on there aren't too great.

No, it squeezes as much stuff into 50MB as possible, and it succeeds fairly well with that, I think. You get a GUI, a word processor, a webbrowser, an e-mail client, a spreadsheet a drawing application, an NES emulator and lots of more stuff. Remember: everything combined just 50MB. The barebones of The Gimp alone need more than 25MB, so they went for the 'lighter' X-Paint which is not quite as good, of course.

Anybody ever run this? I'm running it right now. It says it needs 256mb, I have 512mb. It seems really fast and not slow. I'm sort of lost though in linux ;)
