Anybody know an outlet that sells NEW computers, but have like, say 1.8Ghz clock speeds?
Right now my friend is looking for a computer. Dell, where he is looking right now, sells 2.4 Ghz as it's lowest performing computer. Plus, it's a Celeron. Not exactly a plus.
I have a bunch of stuff laying around that could be used to fill out a computer, so he really only needs the basics. He doesn't need to be paying $200 more for something extra. It needs to be something in the U.S. of course.

AMD&Intel always drop their older CPUs to stop them being a feasible alternative to newer ones. Unluckily they disappear from the market pretty quickly too. Sorry, they don't want you get that computer you really want
