Review by Rob:
Also known as Keith Van Eron's Pro Soccer (that one was published by MicroPlay, a MicroProse label). MicroProse Pro Soccer is a decent conversion of Sensible Software's C64 classic MicroProse Soccer. The conversion was done by Designer Software. At its time, MicroProse Soccer was one of the best soccer games around with great gameplay, various play modes and the choice of indoor and outdoor games. The action is viewed from a top-down view with much bigger sprites than used from Kick Off, the other classic game of that time. However, as usual the PC version can't really keep up with the C64 classic both in gameplay and fun. This game should be played with a joystick as the keyboard controls aren't top-notch. Overall, a marginally above average soccer game that could have been better.
