Hello,

my first computer experience was a C64 in the early 90's. And even today I'm interested in the 'old' computer hardware and philosophy.

Hello.

I had my first computer experience at a young age with a computer that was running Windows 3.1. We had a single computer in every classroom and a computer lab that kids got to play in once a week. Even back then, we were required to understand the bare minimum of using a computer before we could pass 1st Grade.

Sadly, I don't remember much about the computers at the school, but some of the games stuck with me. I'll never know why they allowed Doom to be installed on computers for 7 year olds.

I get very excited whenever I'm browsing through archives of Floppy images and I see something that triggers a memory of something I feel was long and forgotten in my childhood that I used to spend countless hours on. It's been a very long time and I don't have the best of memory.

As it's not the rush hour, there aren't any carts trundling past, which is good news unless you're a cartographer.

Hi jamielay! Personally, I prefer something a bit more substantial these days. Such as a wafer thin mint :P

Hi, my Name is Victor Reyes Morales, I'm Spanish and I love old computer games, especially the 386-486 era. I remeber when I touched for my first time a computer in my school, into computer classroms. Congratulations for this page, it's a really museum page!

Hi!

Oldtime gamer here, having started gaming with a pre-Atari "Pong" system in the 70s. My computer gaming career began with the Vic20 and C64, then jumped to the IBM PC format with a dual floppy Amstrad PC1512 in 1986. Dual floppies meant half the disk swapping!

Some of the earliest PC games I recall playing are Bill Williams' Alley Cat, Dave and Barry Murry's The Ancient Art of War, the submarine simuation GATO and business sim Executive Suite.

Hi, I´m Gustavo, a very proud owner of a Turbo XT clone. Thanks for this great site. I find the boxes´ arts fantastic, since as a Brazilian user, I only had pirated games.

Hi, I have just started dumping my PC, Amiga and C64 disks and would like to check these against the copies catalogued here for preservation and/or verification purposes. Cheers. =)
